The Kingston Media Reader USB 3.0 is a fast multi-card reader that can accept all the major memory cards available in the market.
These include SD, SDHC, SDXC, CF, microSD, microSDHC, microSDXC, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, and Memory Stick M2. The card reader offers plug and play capabilities and is faster than USB 2.0 by 10 times when connected to a USB 3.0 port. The device is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0.
The Kingston Media Reader USB 3.0 offers up to 5GB per second transfer speed. When used with high-speed memory cards such as Kingston Ultimate series of Compact Flash cards, this provides much faster transfer speeds than most other memory card readers. The reader has a status indicator LED and comes bundled with a three-foot USB 3.0 cable.
The device has a metal outer body, which makes it robust. It has dimensions of 93.17 x 52.68 x 16.00mm and comes with a two-year warranty and 24 x 7 technical support. It is compatible with Windows 7, Windows Vista (SP1 and SP2), and Windows XP (SP3).
