As we enter the last month of the year, let us look at what is selling well in the land of the rising sun. Japanese retail camera sales reflect a trend towards APS -C and the figures released by Map Camera for October sales make interesting reading. Top of the list in sales was Fujifilm’s X-H2. The X-H2 is followed in second position by Nikon’s Z 9 which continues to be in short supply. Number three is again Fujifilm with the XS-10. Sony comes fourth with the FX 30.
Who would have thought at the turn of the century that Fujifilm, then a film manufacturer would top the sales chart in camera sales? Well done, Fujifilm!
