Alka Kedia is an interior designer by profession, but she has a passion for mountaineering and photography. Alka had her first solo exhibition of photographs – Himalayan Soujourn – at The Jehangir Terrace Art Gallery in Mumbai from February 12 to 18, 2015. The photographs were taken by her during her several visits to the Himalayan regions.
Fifty excellent ink-jet photographs, printed on archival quality Hahnemuhle paper, and each meticulously framed and titled, were on display. The pictures were greatly appreciated by one and all.
