Manfrotto announced that it will release lightweight backpack, tripod and monopod line in the Off road series. The Off road family includes super light tripod, walking stick monopod, and ultra-light backpack. Tubes of the tripod and walking stick are made of aluminium and are provided by Fizan, an Italian firm that supplies sky sticks and trekking poles. The backpack has a capacity of 30 litres, which can accommodate a camera and 2 to 3 lenses in separate compartments for storing, plus spaces for a tripod and walking stick.
The Off road tripod has a ball head and level meter. The tripod weighs 650g and holds up to 2.5kg load. The Walking stick weighs 400g and holds up to 2.5kg load. The tripod and walking stick come in three colours—red, green and blue. The Off road backpack comes in four colours—grey, blue, red and green.
