Panasonic Corp. has stated that its net profit for Q1 of fiscal 2015 escalated by 57% to 59.8 billion yen on sales of 1,857 billion yen. The profit in operation fell by 7% to 76.5 billion yen. Sony announced its sales for Q1, which were 1,808 billion yen—a 0.1% year-on-year decline. The profit in operation increased by 38.8% to 96.9 billion yen.
