In our daily rigmarole, we sometimes slip
up and forget important events. One such event was the completion of 100 years by Olympus. Although Olympus is currently not in India, there is no way anyone can forget its contribution to photography, starting with the PEN series, the OM-1 and its successors, the formidable OM-4, the X-A, the Mju series and finally, the OM-D range. Olympus has always been known for innovation, and its name in many ways is synonymous with miniaturisation. Let’s not forget that Olympus also co-invented mirrorless cameras. So, well done Olympus and hope to see you back in India shortly.
