The event of the month clearly was the simultaneous worldwide announcement of the EISA Awards on August 15. The Covid pandemic made physical meetings impossible, but, the juries rose to the occasion and met virtually, a number of times. Our heartiest congratulations to Fujifilm, for winning the Camera of the Year Award with the excellent X-T4. There were several other excellent cameras in the running, like the Sony A7R IV, the Nikon Z50 and the Canon EOS-1D X Mark III, and all of them have won in their respective segments. We also congratulate Huawei for winning the best camera in a smartphone award. Full details of the awards are available in this issue, as also on our website.
