Canon announced the EF 200-400mm F/4.0L IS USM Extender 1.4x, a telezoom lens with a built-in 1.4x extender. With the simple flick of a switch at the rear, the lens converts to a 280-560mm F/5.6 lens.
The lens offers features like Power Focus, IS ‘mode 3’, weathersealed construction, 4-stop image stabilization, and a minimum focussing distance of 2m. The lens is expected to be available from end-of-May for about £11,999.99.
