The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) reported that the 2013 International CES, held from January 8th to 11th, was the largest ever in the show’s 45-year history, with 1.92 million net square feet of exhibit space.
Approximately 3,250 exhibitors unveiled around 20,000 new products at the 2013 CES, drawing more than 150,000 attendees. This is PMA’s second year as a co-host of the PMA@CES trade show. Held at LVH this year, PMA honoured five members with the 2013 Distinguished Service award; Bob Friend, Rob Markoff, CPF, Brian Mundy, Margaret Remy, and Peter Rose. PMA’s highest honour, the Hall of Fame award was awarded to Don Spring Jr. of Cavalcade Colour Lab. This year saw a decrease in the number of exhibitors from Japan.
CES2014 and PMA@CES will be held from January 7th to 10th, 2014 in Las Vegas.
