Fujifilm has announced a replacement for its current FinePix F550EXR model – the FinePix F600EXR compact D-cam.
This new model will be available in a gold, black, red and white finish for around 40K yen (US$500). The model is equipped with a 1/2-inch EXR CMOS image sensor, Fujinon 4.4-66mm (24-360mm equivalent) F3.5-5.3 15X 12-in-10 zoom lens that focuses down to a minimum distance of 5-30cm in the macro mode at wide-angle end supported by mechanical (sensor shift) image stabilization system and 3.0-inch 460K-dot TFT colour LCD monitor.
Fujifilm revealed a flat-and-thin compact camera mounting a 5X zoom lens and 3.5-inch touch-screen LCD monitor. The FinePix Z950 EXR is available for30,000 yen (US$380) and mounts a 1/2-inch 16MP (effective) EXR CMOS image sensor, Fujinon 5-25mm (28mm-140mm equiv.) F3.9-4.9 13-in-11 zoom lens and 3.5-inch touch-screen wideangle 460K-dot TFT LCD monitor.
