Indra Sen, life member of the Federation of Indian Photography and the India International Photographic Council passed away on 3rd February 2013.
Indra was a Principal Technical Officer in NISCAIR and National Coordinator for SAARC Documentation Centre an establishment of the CSIR.
He held a very special position in the School of Fototechnik and the Kriti Photography Club. Being the first student of the Fototechnik family, he was the flag bearer of the institute. He also served the Kriti Photography Club as Secretary for over fifteen years. Indra was instrumental in the formation of the School of Fototechnik Education Society to propagate photography through the Institute – School of Fototechnik. As the President of this society he shared all responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the institute. We at SP mourn his untimely death.
