Mumbai based photographer, Sahil Mane’s exhibiton titled Orgasm!, is a series of edgy, sensual and evocative abstracts.
It was held at the Gallery Svenska, in suburban Mumbai from 9th to 30th June 2011. The sequence displayed was the result of Mane’s experiments with various liquids – ink, fruit juices, oil paint and water. He feels sex is still considered a taboo by the Indian society, therefore he has used photography as a medium to convey that sex is a warm, loving and wholesome experience that symbolises martial bliss.
