With this issue, Smart Photography enters it’s 16th year of publication. Unfortunately, the timing coincides with the coronavirus epidemic. The impact is likely to be felt throughout the world. We understand that several camera plants in China have been shuttered, causing a shortage of strategic components. The global uncertainty will also take it’s toll on demand. To add fuel to the fire, budget cuts by camera companies will take its toll on other industries like retail and the media, both of which are already under considerable pressure.Let us hope that the second half of 2020 turns out to be better.
