During NASA’s Apollo 15 mission in 1971, astronaut Jim Irwin had used the Hasselblad 500 ‘EL DATA CAMERA HEDC’ for landscape photography on the moon. He took about 300 images with this camera. During Apollos missions 11-17, this was the the only camera to be brought back to earth. The rest were left on the moon. This camera will be auctioned off by the Westlicht Gallery in Vienna, Australia. The camera is expected to fetch more than €150,000.
