Kingston, has launched the ultra-value UV300 solid-state drive (SSD) in India. It is Kingston’s first SSD to use TLC (triple-level cell) NAND, providing better speed and performance at a very competitive price. The new UV300 SSD is available in 120GB, 240GB and 480GB capacities at MRP of Rs. 3700, Rs. 6,500 and Rs. 12,700 respectively.
The UV300 is claimed to be10x faster that conventional hard drives and is powered by the Phison S10 quad-core controller. It has a read speed of up to 550MB/s and write speed of up to 510MB/s.
