Casio unveils the ZS and ZR series

February 6, 2012 by spwordpress

Casio announced the release of four new models to the Exilim family: the EX-ZS150, EX-ZS20, EX-ZS12, and EX-ZS6.

These compact cameras feature a powerful zoom lens, 16.1 effective megapixels along with high-performance features that are generally not seen in entry level digital cameras.

The four new models have dedicated buttons for the basic digital camera operations of capturing, reviewing, and deleting images.

Meanwhile, the EX-ZS12 and EX-ZS6 are equipped with a 26mm wide-angle lens and a 5x optical zoom. The EX-ZS12 features a slim, stainless-steel body resulting in a high-quality look.

In the ZR series, the new EX-ZR200 introduces a whole new world for compact digital cameras. As the new flagship model, the EX-ZR200 uses Casio’s own high-speed technology to achieve new heights in camera performance.

The camera also comes with Casio’s HDR-ART function, which creates impressive artistic images with nothing more than a press of the shutter button. The EX-ZR200 delivers advanced ease of use that raises the bar for functionality in a compact digital camera.

Apart from this, Casio has announced the Exilim EX-ZR15 high-speed compact camera. The EX-ZR15 features a 7x, 28-196mm equivalent, F3.0-5.9 stabilised zoom lens and a 16MP CMOS sensor. Casio promises a responsive experience and offers a range of multi-shot features, such as in-camera HDR, a blurred background effect and stitched-image wide angle function.
