Fujifilm has released a high-end tough outdoor model- the FinePix XP200. The model is priced at about 30,000 yen (US$310). The company expects to sell around 300,000 units per year.
The main features of the XP200 are a 1/2.3-inch 16-megapixel CMOS sensor, 5x zoom lens (28-140mm in the 35mm format), waterproof down to 15 meters, shock-proof from 2m above; full HD movie of 60fps, and Wi-Fi.
