August 31, 2011 by spwordpress

Fujifilm announced the addition of three new models to their FinePix line.

The FinePix S4000, that is powered by 4 universally obtainable AA-type batteries, and mounts a 30X optical zoom lens allowing super close-up at 2cm from the tip of the lens. The Fujinon 24mm-720mm equivalent F3.1-5.9 zoom lens sustained by mechanical (sensor-shift) image stabilization system, in the super-macro mode focuses down to 2cm to 1m at the wideangle end.

The camera offers a wide range of picture-taking and editing programs that will satisfy both novices and hobbyists. The FinePix S4000 will hit the shelves of Japan dealers at around 29,800 yen (US$370).

The Fujifilm JX370 is ideally suited for photographers who want to shoot – and share – their photos with minimal fuss. This model offers an impressive level of specification that includes 14 megapixel resolution, a wide range of shooting modes and Easy web uploads. The 5x zoom lens (equivalent to a 28-140mm lens on a 35mm camera), and the metallic-effect finish on the body of the camera adds a stylish appeal.

Also launched is the FinePix F600 EXR – a model that extends picture-taking possibilities for a compact camera. The FinePix F600 EXR adopts the key aspects first seen on the F550 EXR, but has its own new additions. The pioneering 16 megapixel EXR-CMOS sensor now features new EXR Auto with a Motion Detection capability to virtually reduce subject blur in all lighting conditions

The built-in GPS functionality adds a Landmark Navigator feature to help photographers pin-point locations, and the 15x wide-angle optical zoom lens now doubles its telephoto power due to the new digital zoom mode.
