Poco Announces X3

September 23, 2020 by Sweta baruah

Poco X3

Poco has launched its latest phone X3. Running on Snapdragon 732G, the X3 offers sustained performance and AI capabilities thanks to its architecture based on the Kryo 470 octa-core CPU and Adreno 618 GPU. The device embeds LiquidCool Technology Plus that reduces the heat of the phone’s processor by up to an additional 6°C. It sports an edge-to-edge 16.94 cm FHD+ display with a combination of a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Its Dynamic-Switch function allows the phone to save power by automatically navigating between 50, 60, 90 and 120Hz. It comes with dual stereo speakers that have the ability to self-clean, ensuring steady operation and unmuffled audio.

The X3 sports a rear quad-camera system consisting of a 64MP main camera, 13MP ultra-wide angle camera, 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone’s main camera is a flagship Sony IMX 682 sensor supporting ƒ/1.89 aperture. The 13MP ultra-wide angle camera boasts a 119° field of view propped up by ƒ/2.2 aperture, while, the front of the device sports an in-screen 20MP camera with ƒ/2.2 aperture. The device also comes equipped with a large 6000mAh battery that lasts over two days under moderate usage. The handset supports 33W fast charging and can be charged to 100% in only 86 minutes, owing to Middle Middle Tab (MMT) technology.

The Poco X3 will be available in Shadow Grey and Cobalt Blue colours, in 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB storage variants, at a price of INR 16,999, INR 18,499 and INR 19,999 respectively. The device will be available for purchase via Flipkart from September 29, 2020.
