Nikon announced the Nikon 1 V3, an Interchangeable Lens System Camera with an 18 MP 1-inch Type CMOS sensor with no low pass filter and an EXPEED 4A image processing engine. During NASA's Apollo 15 mission in 1971, astronaut Jim Irwin had used the Hasselblad 500 'EL DATA CAMERA HEDC' for landscape photography on the moon. He took about 300 images with this camera.
