FUJIFILM Introduces instax mini Evo Cinema in India

January 22, 2026 by Gandhi Mathi

FUJIFILM India has introduced the instax mini Evo Cinema, a hybrid instant camera that merges cinematic video capture with classic instant printing, expanding the Evo series for creative storytelling.

The device functions as a 3-in-1 tool: it shoots still images and short videos, prints them on instax mini film, and doubles as a smartphone printer. Users can record videos—up to 15 seconds per clip—and generate instax prints featuring a selected frame alongside a QR code. Scanning the code replays the video on a smartphone, preserving moments in both physical and digital forms.

A standout addition is the Eras Dial, offering 10 era-inspired effects (such as 1960s 8mm film aesthetics) with 10 intensity levels each, delivering 100 unique combinations for retro-flavored stills and videos. The camera’s vertical grip draws inspiration from Fujifilm’s 1965 FUJICA Single-8, blending analog-style controls with a modern LCD monitor for framing and selection.

Complementing the hardware, a dedicated app enables video editing, clip combination, cinematic templates, and direct printing from smartphones.

In India, the instax mini Evo Cinema Premium Edition Combo Box—including the camera and two packs of instax mini glossy film (20 shots total)—carries an MRP of INR 47,999. Pre-bookings opened January 21 and run through January 27 on www.instax.in, with buyers receiving two extra designer film packs as a benefit. General availability and dispatches begin January 28, 2026.

The launch reinforces FUJIFILM’s push to evolve instant photography, blending nostalgia, creativity, and tangible memory-keeping in the digital era.
