The company’s leading position in the Smartphone, TV and other digital products industry is responsible for their high ranking. Samsung ranked 4th in the IT industry. The company has come up from its rank of number 9 in 2012. The company has ranked No. 1 in the global market share in the TV category for seven consecutive years. Their expansion in the categories of mobile phones and memory alongwith global brand marketing activities across the world have also contributed to their rise.
The first three ranks were bagged by Apple, Google and Coca Cola, in that order.
