Useful enhancements-Photoshop Elements 13

March 16, 2015 by SPEdit Team

J(16_2015BG_Useful-enhancements)2Evaluation
Photoshop Elements 13 is essentially a refined version of the Elements 12. Though the features remain mostly the same, Adobe has made this software more intelligent so that it efficiently does the job without leaving patches in the content aware fill mode or other automated features. The improved features certainly helps people who are new to the field of photo editing get a grip on the tools. The built-in effects and templates make professional  quality artworks easy to replicate.

The eLive feature is a very useful addition, which allows the user to go through various interactive tutorials without leaving the interface. New users may take some time getting used to the interface, but this version of Elements certainly helps them to familiarise with the tools much faster than with older versions of Elements.

Value for Money
Photoshop Elements 13 is available for download at an MRP of Rs.6388.20. The combination of Photoshop Elements 13 and Primiere Elements 13 (video editing software) is priced at Rs. 9582.30. This is the same as the launch price of Elements 12. At this price, the bundle is certainly good value for money.

VERDICT
The Photoshop Elements 13 is a powerful image editing platform, aimed at amateur photographers, graphic designers, and website developers who do not have the budget or requirement for the professional suite, the Creative Cloud. At the above price, we would certainly suggest this package for any budding or amateur photographer.
