He served as former director, regional centre of National Academy of Fine Arts in Lucknow and former head of the department of commercial art and photography at Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lucknow. In the last one year, this retired teacher of art had taken to turning his own samples of nature photography into canvasses of abstract, graphic art, some of which he even displayed at exhibitions.

We at Smart Photography offer our sincere condolences to both the families, and may their souls rest in peace.
