A rare 0-series Leica camera, first sold in 1923, has become the most expensive camera to be sold at an auction recently.
Six months after WestLicht Photographica set a new record for a Leica camera – the Leica MP2, built in 1958, which sold for €402,000 – the German institution broke all records with the sale of an extremely rare Leica of the 0-series for €1.32m ($1.9m).
